American rapper Cardi B has scored her very own campaign for the Balenciaga fashion brand for the winter 2020 season.
This major achievement comes exactly two years after the rapper mentioned the fashion line in her I like it jam saying;
And I like those Balenciagas, the one’s that look like socks
The “WAP” hitmaker shared a snippet of her new fashion-based advertisement on Instagram on Tuesday and cardi was clearly over the moon in working with the popular clothing brand.
Following the announcement,the mother of one through her Instagram wrote;
Ya lookin at the face of a @Balenciaga campaign!I remember how I felt seeing myself on a billboard in NYC Times Square but PARIS! Wish I was there to see it in person!Cardi captioned in the post.
From the image shared by Cardi, the singer rocks a classy bob hairstyle complemented with a silky Balenciaga evening gown while posing on grass, surrounded by Children’s toys along with Balenciaga’s new Neo Classic bag.

Her much-coveted campaign role with Balenciaga means she will be often be seen wearing a whole lot of collections from the designer fashion brand to gain awareness and commercial success from their lucrative deal.
The said winter 2020 campaign for Balenciaga can also be seen on billboards on the environs of the Louvre museum in Paris.
Big fashion houses are known to collaborate with famous public figures to do their work. Balenciaga however, is very distinct with who they give the ambassadorial duties.
According to the clothing line’s creative director, Cardi B was seen the best fit to be enlisted as the campaigns star.
Other than Fashionova, Balenciaga is one of the big brands to be working with the Atlantic records signee.
Cardi has also been busy enjoying the success of her No. 1 hit “WAP” featuring Megan the Stallion barely three weeks after it’s debut.
