Chance The Rapper Announces Incoming Christmas Album with Jeremih

American Superstar Chance The Rapper recently announced a joint compilation album featuring singer Jeremiah dubbed ‘Merry Christmas Lil Mama: The Gift That Keeps on Giving’ which is set to be released on December 11.

The album features two new original songs – “The Return” and “Who’s to Say” – along with holiday hits from the pair’s previous releases, the “Merry Christmas: Lil Mama” volumes 1 and 2 mixtapes (released in 2016 and 2017 respectively)

According to the rapper, the Christmas album is a gift to the fans celebrating the Holidays and New Year. The album will be available for the first time ever across all streaming sites.

The album is also is heartwarming news that his close friend Jeremih has overcome Covid-19. Jeremih was discharged from the hospital on December 4 after several weeks of battling with the virus.

“To celebrate and express a moment of gratefulness for Jeremih’s recovery on December 4, Chance and Jeremih started to liven up the Holiday season with the release of their Christmas track ‘Are U Live’ from the album,” he said.

The rapper also told Ellen DeGeneres that he will be reconnecting with his friend Justin Bieber on their ‘Holy’ collaboration. Chance says that ‘Holy’ is special to him because Justin is a close friend. They have gone through a lot of stuff together like getting married at the same age and the song is about their relationship with their spouses and faith as well.

“ and the song was about our relationship with our wives, our relationship with our faith. And it’s cool ’cause I think it seems to be connecting with a lot of people. So I think this is definitely one of the most special records that we’ve made.” He added.
