Davido’s Crew DMW Member Blasts Wizkid Over Grammy Nominations.

A member of singer Davido’s DMW crew by the name Vinne has dragged Wizkid over his recent Grammy nomination rumors claiming that Wizkid did not grab the nomination.

Vinne wrote on his Twitter page that Twitter influencers in Nigeria of misleading and misinforming the public about Wizkid’s nomination since according to him the nomination goes to singer Beyonce and the producers of the video only.

He went further and revealed that Beyonce’s music video featuring Wizkid was nominated for the 2021 Grammys but Wizkid is not part of the nominations. “It’s sad how Twitter NG influencers are spreading rumors about Wizkid being nominated for the #GRAMMYs When it was clearly stated that he wasn’t, and also not credited on official Grammy site the way Burna Boy and other nominated people were. We are our problem in this country”.

Vinner went deeper into the issue and reminded Nigerians, music lovers of the embarrassment the artists who featured on Beyonce ‘s ‘Lion kIng’ album have brought on themselves.

“Last year when Beyonce LION KING got nominated, Wizkid Burna Tiwa Yemi Alade Tekno were all screaming “I got nominated” but turned out they were not Once again Burna Boy is the only nominated Nigerian artiste this year, as seen on Grammy site and it’s social pages”.

Just a few days ago it was alleged that  Davido’s 30 Billion Gang crew was going about threatening Wizkids associates living abroad.

It is said that the crew of the two afrobeat artists were at loggerheads and were fighting in a foreign territory risking being arrested by authorities.

In a series of tweets by popular Nigerian investigative journalist, Kemi Olunloyo called out Davido to make efforts to control his crew before things get out of hand.

“The COLD WAR going on between Davido and WizKid could destroy the Nigerian music business. The DEATH  threats meted upon WizKid associates by the 30 BG crew is unbelievable. Fans have no idea! Davido should control his crew ASAP. Most of this is happening abroad” she tweeted.
