Former Bambika TV host Holy Dave Muthengi has opened up about his tainted past life where he heavily indulged with narcotic substances that put his life on hold for close to three years.
Speaking during an interview, the media personality said he was introduced to drugs while in high school.
Holy Dave said his heavy drinking habits cost him his memory to a point of needing special attention forcing him to bridge for courses for one year.
“The drugs affected me so much and with the memory loss, there was no way I could pass KCSE. It affected me to a level that I had to bridge courses for a year. I had to go for pre-university and had to waste another year doing computer packages,” he said.
Because of his alcoholic and drug abuse tendencies, the singer faced suspension several times and was accused of leading strikes but miraculously failed to get expelled.
Holy Dave also narrated how his parents were pushed to their limits and gave up on him and they never bothered to check up on him when he was about to sit for his final exams.
“They didn’t come and even if they did, they wouldn’t have found me because I was so hungover after partying the previous night,” said Holy Dave.
