Canadian singer Justin Bieber recently opened up about the mayhem he experienced from his DUI arrest seven years ago.
Sharing a photo of that dreadful day on Instagram showing him cuffed by the police and lead away while the paparazzi took snaps of the incident.
According to sources, the 26-year-old singer was then arrested after being suspected of driving while he was under the influence.
Justin had quite a rough time during his late teens that saw him get involved in all sorts of scandals and drama.
Seven years later the pop star seems to have got his act together and now is a responsible married man.
Saturday, January 23 marked seven years since the day that saw him get shamed for his own actions
“7 years ago today I was arrested, not my finest hour. Not proud of where I was at in my life. I was hurting, unhappy, confused, angry, mislead, misunderstood, and angry at God.”
Throwing a shade of how he was dressed on the day of the arrest, “I also wore too much leather for someone in Miami. All this to say God has brought me a long way. From then till now I do realize something.. God was as close to me then as he is right now. My encouragement to you is to ‘let your past be a reminder of how far God has brought you.”
Giving some piece of advice to his fans urging them to forgive themselves for their mistake
“Don’t allow shame to ruin your ‘today’ let the forgiveness of Jesus take over and watch your life blossom into all that God has designed you to be. LOVE YOU GUYS WITH MY WHOLE HEART.”
The Miami arrest sparked a petition which over 270,000 Americans signed urging President Barack Obama to deport the “Let me love you” hitmaker to his homeland Canada.
