African popstar Nadia Mukami is arguably one of the most promising prospects in the competitive Kenyan music scene.

The musician who reportedly doubles up as an entrepreneur, was on the receiving end yesterday after publicly revealing her collaboration charges with Kenyan musicians.

This transpired a few moments after the 24-year-old  posted singer Bahati’s photo on her timeline whilst congratulating him for his upcoming album.

” Congratulations on your upcoming album release Bahati. We may as well do your bulk Sms for this release Kwa Bei poa. ” She stated.

In no time, Bahati responded to the post advising the songstress to collaborate with him in his current album.

The said amount translates to a whopping Ksh. 10 million which willing participants will have to part with for a collaboration with the songstress.

Most netizens slammed the ” Maombi” hitmaker for overhyping her success and her rate card by putting herself at a level higher than her reputation.

Other netizens argued that the mistress had quoted a ridiculous price as a way to turn off singer Bahati.

It is understood, that no Kenyan artist has ever charged such an amount on music collabos, the highest ever recorded was an International Show from Sauti Sol where the group made headlines after demanding Ksh. 5 million from the organizers.

Could these be Nadia’s collaboration rate card?

At one point she went on to reveal the amount she charges per show during an interview with the Standard newspaper a few years ago.
