Megan Thee Stallion recently dropped the Good News album, and the Houston rapper decided to address the shooting incident that happened 8 months ago after coming from Kylie Jenner’s party with an introductory jam titled “Shots Fired”. Well, if the title of the song is anything to go by, the Savage rapper left not an ounce of detail about her feelings towards her alleged shooter, Tory Lanez and her former best friend, Kelsey Nicole.
Responding to fellow rapper Tory Lanez, who in Daystar had also addressed the shooting incident questioning how Megan failed to sustain major injuries to her bones or tendons if she had indeed been shot, she referred to the bullets as pellets. Megan trolled his short stature insinuating that he used tiny bullets because of the same.
“You shot a 5’10” b**** with a .22/ Talkin’ bout bones and tendons like them bullets weren’t pellets… Okay, he in the backseat and he keep callin’ me a b****,” Megan raps. In another verse, she continues to make fun of the rapper’s height saying, “I’m a steak, you a side plate, shrimp, stay in your place.”
Tory Lanez wasn’t her only target in the track as she drags her former best friend who according to her wanted to be her (Megan) so bad. Kelsey Nicole was present during the shooting but chose to remain silent for months even with rumors suggesting that she had gone behind Megan’s back by having an affair with her now “ex-boyfriend” Tory Lanez. Kelsey has also been spotted hanging out with Tory’s adversaries, J.Prince and Carl Crawford after the shooting.
Recently, Megan came out to claim that Tory Lanez had offered Kelsey and her money in exchange for their silence. “This like right in the middle of all the protesting. Police are just killing everybody for no reason, and I’m thinking, ‘I can’t believe you even think I want to take some money. Like you just shot me’,” she told GQ.
However, Kelsey has also fired shots back at the rapper on social media using the rapper’s own lyrics in Shots Fired. Check the screenshots below.
