Weeks after happening and failing to meet the hype, the NaiFest continues to make negative headlines after a series of unfortunate events happened like artists failing to perform to theft and even the death of some young people. Some of the musicians who never performed are Reekado from Nigeria and Tanasha from Kenya.

As a result, Socialite Bridget Achieng who organized the event has been on the receiving end after getting blamed for the unforeseen circumstances and she went to the extent of having her ex-friend Black Cinderella summoned for claiming that Shanty’s death was Bridget’s fault. Shanty was a 17-year-old reveler who lost his life during the Naifest.

Speaking during an interview with Bonga na Jalas, Bridget mentioned why Tanasha failed to perform at the controversial concert and according to the mother of one, Tanasha opted out of the line-up a few days to the event.

Bridget further revealed that their agreement was Tanasha was to perform at the Naifest and in return, she would pay for Tanasha’s ticket flight to Nigeria and also introduce her to some of the influential giants she knew from Nigeria.

A few days before the event, Tanasha called asking for a down payment, something they had not agreed on and after much thought, the influencers talked and agreed to support each other as young mothers but things went south when Tanasha changed her decision opting for a cash payment instead of flying to Nigeria this in return angered Bridget and she threw shade at Tanasha telling her that was the exact reason her baby daddy Diamond Platnumz dumped her.

Well, Tanasha is not about to lose the fight and she has made a video answering Bridget’s allegations. She has blamed Bridget for lying and being a self-centered person.

Tanasha mentioned that Bridget was to pay for her flight to Nigeria not because she could not afford it but because the two had agreed to support each other as young mothers.

But when the #EndSARS riots started in Nigeria, she could no longer travel and therefore her management tried reaching out to Bridget so that they could change their terms but Bridget ignored her thus forcing her management to cancel her performance.
