Uhunye, famously known as Michael Njogu 2020 became an overnight internet sensation for his striking resemblance to the head of state President Uhuru Kenyatta has revealed how he got conned by a real estate company.
According to the president’s doppelganger, he has been experiencing negative changes in his life since the day he shot to his short-lived limelight across social media.
Speaking of his predicament at a sit-down interview with former Tahidi High actor Kibunja, Michael Njogu accused a certain real estate company of maliciously gifting him a house and later on after his fame faded kicked him out of the building.
“that was not really a house, it was just a story (trick) you know, they only want to use you. would you go for a big lifestyle where people want to use you? they just want to do adverts with you, just taking advantage. so I decided to go back to the hood,” he said.
According to the president’s look-alike, Maridadi Motors company has stood by him since his fame, and surprisingly, the motor dealership has not repossessed the vehicle they gifted him a few months back.
Currently, Njogu does construction jobs like Mjengo and other odd jobs just to cater to his daily expenses like food and rent.
